Despite the classical techniques are routinely used for the DNA extraction from fish products (fresh or not) present on the market, in case of complex food matrices, it could be necessary the development of specific procedures. At the same time, it could be necessary to develop rapid techniques (multiplex PCR, PCR-RFLP), that have not yet been proposed in the literature or not validated, for the screening analysis on certain categories of products most frequently subjected to replacement.
Our laboratory offers its know-how for the development of procedures to be applied both in private and official laboratories, to verify the traceability information requested by Community legislation.
